The holiday lodge was a great place to spend Christmas with my family. The cottage layout was clever and the bathroom was very clean. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the quiet location. The villa had a great view of the rural surroundings, and it was only a short drive to the beach and the town. One advantage we enjoyed was being greeted by friendly cows in the morning and my son loved jumping on the trampoline.
There were a couple of drawbacks during our stay. there were flies in the house all the time, despite keeping the doors and windows closed.

The room was amazing, with a fully equipped kitchen and all the utensils we needed. It made cooking our own meals so easy! We loved the cozy leather lounges and the fact that we could relax and watch TV or a DVD after a long day of exploring.- The WiFi was a huge plus, allowing us to stay connected and share our travel experiences with friends and family.- The second bathroom with a wheelchair accessible shower was a thoughtful touch, making the room suitable for all guests.- The rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed having access to a full kitchen, BBQ, spa, and even a woodfire for those chilly evenings.- The ocean and National Park views from the villa were breathtaking and added an extra touch of tranquility to our stay.
While some may enjoy it, we found the abundance of leather sofas a bit uncomfortable. Personal preference, though!

the lodge itself was super modern and brand new-looking, with a clean and well thought out design. the kitchen was well provisioned, and even included washing up equipment and gloves, which was a nice touch. the shower in the bathroom was huge, and there were 4 pieces of everything in the kitchen, so we didn't have to wash everything straight away. the extra large bottled water provided was appreciated, as the recent smoke haze had affected the tank water. the lodge also had a TV with hdmi ports and free WiFi, which was a bonus. I could imagine living there quite happily!
Nothing negative to say 😊

The room was so spacious and comfortable, I felt right at home with all the amenities provided. I loved having a fully equipped kitchen with everything I needed to cook and prepare meals. The leather sofa was super cozy, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The BBQ area was a great addition, allowing us to enjoy outdoor dining and cookouts. The distance views of the ocean and National Park from the villa were simply breathtaking.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the woodfire feature, but I understand it can be enjoyable for others.
